How it all started...
When I first stepped into my new home, I imagined every corner telling a story, my story. But when it came to lampshades, all I found were the same uninspired, mass-produced designs. They lacked personality. They lacked soul. They did not reflect my taste or the joy I wanted my home to radiate.
Instead of settling, I turned my frustration into inspiration. I dusted off my sewing machine and began creating lampshades that spoke of individuality, pieces designed to last for years and shine with character.
What began as a personal quest to bring warmth and meaning into my own home soon grew into A Shade Different, a brand dedicated to crafting lampshades and furnishings as unique as the people who live beneath them.
